A1 Custom Meats, LLC. was founded and opened in the summer of 2009 in Wilson Mills area of Northern Johnston County, North Carolina to meet the need for sanitary, safe and legally operated Custom Slaughter facility which specialized in the Custom slaughtering of Goats, Lambs and Calves for individuals in Johnston County, the Cities of Raleigh, Durham and chapel Hill and the rapidly growing Research Triangle region of North Carolina. Our facility has been specifically designed and constructed to meet the many unique and special requirements of those individuals and groups seeking fresh and wholesale Goat, Lamb and beef products which are raised handled and slaughtered in a very humane manner and in accordance with all Halal, Kosher and various religious and ethnic slaughtering rituals, rites and customs.
In addition to providing custom slaughtering services, our facility is also fully approved and inspected by North Carolina Department of Agriculture Slaughter House which allows us to sell meat by the head.
We also purchase live Lambs and Goats from the general public on a daily basis.

A1 Custom Meats is a family owned business. Mr. Donny, the Business Owner, grew up working in a Slaughter House with his father, and has been involved in the Livestock business all his life. In 2008, Donny saw the need to construct a slaughter facility to serve the unique needs and special requirements of the many diverse religious and ethnic groups moving into the rapidly growing Triangle area of North Carolina. He wanted to provide people with the proper facility to conduct the slaughtering of animals for meat and religious purposes instead of people slaughtering animals illegally in their backyards. Mr. Donny has educated himself on all the different ways of religious and ethic slaughter to be able to give his customers the facility they need to preform their sacrifices and following all the rules and beliefs that they have! Since opening this business, we have created good relationships with our customers and see them all as our friends and part of our family!
